BrewDog Punk AGM 2019

The Brief

We were approached by the world’s leading craft beer brewer, BrewDog, to work with them on their infamous AGM (Annual General Madness). BrewDog are known for doing things differently when it comes to following convention. They wanted to deliver an event experience that encapsulates what they are all about; creativity, engagement and social awareness. It was important to demonstrate the work that they do and their plans for the future in a creative, energetic and engaging way. BrewDog wanted to create an enjoyable, interactive experience that all attendees could be part of.

The Solution

We presented Social Mosaic, one of our interactive engagement products, which allows users to be part of a mosaic created through the two days of activity. Our promotional team were on hand to take images through our roaming iPads whilst our event technicians pulled images uploaded by guests to their social media platforms using #punkAGM2019. All these images were processed through our mosaic software to create a large BrewDog mosaic wall to which all shareholders were included. Guests revelled in coming back to the wall later in the day to try and find themselves in what was likened to the largest game of where’s wally in the world.

The Result

With over 2,200 images captured on both the Saturday and Sunday, two large mosaic walls were created which will now be displayed in two of BrewDog’s breweries for visitors and team members to view. Our social mosaic boards come in any size to fit any digital activation. The team at BrewDog challenged us with creating the largest we have supplied to date, mounted on pallet walls that attendees could return and visit throughout the weekend. The structure measure 3m x 3m with over 2000 images captured from 14,000 attendees over the weekend resulting in the biggest mosaic board created to date in Scotland.
