Interactive Scavenger Hunt Hire UK — Quest by Social Jungle
A visitor walks into your venue, scans a QR code, and the game begins. Within seconds they are hunting for a branded object hidden somewhere in the space, phone camera at the ready, one clue closer to a prize that matters to them. That is Quest in action — our AI-powered interactive scavenger hunt that turns any venue, festival site, or fan zone into a fully branded live game. It drives footfall, extends dwell time, and leaves every participant with a reason to remember your brand.
We ran Quest at the 2025 London leg of the Formula E Championship, hiding branded objects across the fan village for thousands of fans to find. By mid-afternoon, players were queueing to enter and bringing their friends back to play. Social Jungle builds and operates Quest activations for venues, brands, and event organisers across the UK. The platform is lightweight, mobile-first, and powered by AI object recognition — no app download, no complex on-site rig. Browse our full range of digital activations to see where Quest fits alongside our other formats.
This page covers what Quest is, how it works, who it is built for, and how to get it booked. If you want to play it before you commit, you are welcome to visit our Experiential Playground showroom in East Kilbride for a live demo.

What Is It?
Quest is a branded, web-based scavenger hunt powered by AI object recognition. Players open a link on their own phone — no app download, no sign-up friction — and work through a sequence of clues, each directing them to a real-world object placed somewhere within your venue, site, or festival footprint. When they think they have found the right object, they scan it with their camera. The AI confirms the match instantly and the hunt moves to the next clue.
When every object has been found, the player receives a confirmation email with their prize and redemption instructions. The entire experience — clue copy, visual identity, reward structure, confirmation email — is built around your brand. Whether the brief is an Easter egg hunt, a Halloween trail, a Christmas market foray, a stadium tour, or a fan-village engagement mechanic, the technology stays the same. Only the creative changes.
What Can It Do?
Quest is built around four core capabilities. Each one maps to an outcome brands and venues actually care about: engagement depth, brand integration, commercial flexibility, and audience data.
AI Object Recognition
Players scan physical objects using their phone camera. The AI confirms each find instantly, which keeps the gameplay fast and the drop-off rate low. Because the system validates against the object itself — not just the location — the challenge feels genuine. Players have to find the right thing, not just stand near it.
Fully Branded Experience
Every player-facing element carries your identity. The web interface, clue copy, reward pages, and confirmation emails are all customised to your brand. The physical objects hidden across the venue can also be bespoke to the campaign. Players experience your brand for the whole duration of the hunt — not just in a logo lockup at the end.
Flexible Reward Structure
You decide what players win. Options include branded merchandise, queue jumps, drink tokens, VIP upgrades, discount codes, or any other incentive that suits the campaign. Rewards are delivered automatically by email on completion, so there is no manual hand-out process for your team to manage on-site.
GDPR-Compliant Data Capture
Data capture is built in as standard. Players submit their details as part of the entry flow to receive their prize confirmation email, which gives you a consented, event-linked data set for post-event remarketing or database growth. Every entry is an opted-in contact — the list is genuinely qualified, not scraped.
Who Is It For?
Venues and Visitor Attractions
Quest turns a one-hour visit into a two-hour engagement session. Shopping centres, museums, galleries, and heritage sites can use it to send visitors deeper into the space — discovering corners they would otherwise walk past and dwelling long enough for retail, catering, or membership conversations to happen. The data capture component also gives the venue a measurable audience insight tool that is difficult to build through footfall counts alone.
Sports Clubs and Fan Engagement
Fan zones, match days, and stadium tours are natural homes for Quest. Our Formula E fan-village deployment proved the format in a high-energy sports environment. Players move through the zone systematically, engaging with sponsor activations along the way, and leave with a reward plus a positive association with your club or event partner. Browse our wider fan experience activations to see how Quest sits alongside our other fan engagement formats.
Brand Activations and Experiential Marketing
For experiential briefs where the objective is deeper brand immersion, Quest gives you the time and narrative space that a standalone activation often lacks. Because players are playing for 20 to 45 minutes rather than 30 seconds, the brand story has room to land. Pair it with a social mosaic activation or another digital format for a layered engagement programme.
Seasonal and Themed Events
Quest adapts to any seasonal narrative. Easter egg hunts, Halloween trails, festive foraging events, summer festival engagements — the mechanic is consistent, only the creative wrap changes. For venues running recurring seasonal programmes, Quest becomes a reusable template with a fresh theme each time.
Festivals and Outdoor Tours
Quest is infrastructure-light. It runs entirely on participants’ own devices, so festival sites, city tours, and temporary event locations can all host it without a kit lorry on-site. That makes it one of our most geographically flexible activations — including for briefs where permanent installation is not an option.
Corporate Events and Conferences
Delegate engagement, partner activations, team-building, and exhibition stand mechanics all work well with Quest. For conference organisers, it is a way to keep delegates moving around the venue, discovering sponsor stands, and generating usable contact data. For exhibitors, it is a prize mechanic that draws foot traffic and justifies the stand investment.

Available Across the UK
Quest hire is available across the UK — from Glasgow and Edinburgh to London, Manchester, Newcastle, and beyond. Because the experience runs on participants’ own devices with no physical infrastructure to transport or install, geography is rarely a constraint. We have deployed it for a global motorsport championship and at small-scale venue activations alike — the core build adapts to both.
If you want to play Quest before you book, visit our Experiential Playground showroom in East Kilbride. We will walk you through a live activation end-to-end and discuss how the creative, clue structure, and reward mechanic would be tailored to your venue, your audience, and your brand.
