Aquarius Creative Client Event 2022

The Brief

Glasgow-based marketing agency, Aquarius Creative, reached out to us to task us with deploying a fun and interactive photo booth solution for an exclusive event it was hosting for its client Whitley Neill Gin.

The theme for the event was James Bond / Casino Royal, so it was crucial that the booth we supplied fit with the theme and aesthetic for the evening. Furthermore, the photo booth had to have the ability to instantly print images taken by guests, while also helping promote the Whitley Neill brand.

The Solution

For the event, we supplied Aquarius Creative with our ‘magic mirror’ activation, which satisfied every aspect of the client’s brief. The large exterior shell provided an excellent canvas on which we could incorporate the Whitley Neill branding; the mirror came with a very eye-catching and ostentatious gold frame, and it also has a built-in printer, allowing for instantaneous photo prints on the night.

Prior to the event, our design team liaised with Aquarius Creative, to ensure the exterior branding and also the design and branding of the printouts were aligned with the theme of the event as well as their client’s branding. Furthermore, our team also ensure the appropriate workflow and assets were pre-loaded into the system, which made for smooth and seamless operation on during the event.

Finally, two member of the Social Jungle team were on hand throughout the night, to assist guest with how to interact with the mirror, help show them how to choose from sharing their images via email, text message, or select a printout, and then also be on hand to provide printed images to each guest. This made for a really easy experience for guests, as all they had to do was pose and smile in front of the camera, and our software and staff handled the rest.

The Results

On the night, the mirror achieved exactly what was required of it. Guests interacted with it throughout the night and loved the experience. It also created an opportunity for guests to come together, and interact with each other, which is exactly what you want at an event.

In total around 120 photos were taken, many of which were printed on the night for guests to take home with them. With the inclusion of Aquarius Creative’s client, Whitley Neill, having its branding on every single printout (and digital share), this provided the brand with an excellent opportunity, in addition to the many other elements of the event which had been organised, to increase brand awareness.

And arguably the most important result for us was client satisfaction; the team at Aquarius Creative loved having the mirror at the event and told us that their guests loved it too – which is always music to our ears!
